🤔 Are HTA professionals prepared for the challenges ahead? 🔎 Colleagues from our group identified emerging HTA competencies in the literature and updated and validated an existing HTA competency framework, covering both process-related skills and domain-specific expertise. 🎯 The findings highlight several new competencies within existing domains, including organizational sustainability, patient and public involvement, real-world data use, interpreting and developing HTA reports, and stakeholder identification. In addition, three new domains emerged: the use of Artificial Intelligence in HTA, environmental aspects, and performance and impact. 🧑‍🎓 These competencies will be included in an updated competency framework, coming soon! This framework can support capacity-building initiatives and the development of training programs, helping ensure HTA professionals are well-equipped to address today’s evolving healthcare challenges. 📖 Do you want to know more?
