Sustainability work is rarely a straight line.   This year, we are making an important update to our climate direction. As climate guidance, reporting expectations and our own understanding of Scope 3 emissions have developed, we are moving from a broad carbon neutrality target toward clearer, measurable reduction targets based on our own emissions data and value chain.   For us, this is about focusing on the work that really changes our footprint: reducing emissions where we can make the greatest impact through materials, product development, production efficiency, supplier collaboration and using better data.   Our new main climate target is to reduce absolute emissions by 50% by 2035, using 2020 as the baseline year. It is still an ambitious target, and reaching it will require new ways of thinking, practical action and a clear connection to the work that can actually reduce emissions.   The report also tells the story of the everyday work behind the numbers: regrinding production scrap directly back into our grip production, developing rim tapes with lower material impact, making biobased content easier to understand, strengthening reporting and social compliance, and finding smarter ways of working.   Read more about our new targets, the results and how we work with sustainability in the full report on our website, link in comment.
