What a night! On Saturday, we celebrated our 50th anniversary together with around 2,300 colleagues, customers and long-standing partners from around the world. The evening was dedicated to the people whose expertise, commitment and team spirit have shaped Herrenknecht’s success over the past five decades. Together, we looked back on an extraordinary journey – and turned our attention to the challenges and opportunities ahead, as well as the role Herrenknecht will continue to play in shaping modern infrastructure around the world. This forward-looking perspective was also reflected in our founder Dr.-Ing. E.h. Martin Herrenknecht’s speech. He highlighted the growing global demand for infrastructure in mobility, energy, water and data fields, and the importance of underground solutions developed here in the Ortenau – from increasingly digitalized and automated tunnelling to new energy sources such as deep geothermal energy. With conviction, he concluded: “The future is built underground – and we will continue to drive it forward.” Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
