We are delighted to announce that Matt Bazeley OBE is to become the new Chief Executive of the Forces Employment Charity. Matt, who served in the Army for more than 30 years, has a distinguished record of leadership and service, as well as extensive expertise in operational and strategic planning. Matt said: “Building on the charity’s strong foundations and recent growth, I look forward to working with colleagues to deliver its vital mission at national scale. I am particularly focused on strengthening partnerships, expanding sustainable opportunities, and ensuring lasting impact for the Armed Forces community.” He will take up the position at the end of July, following a transition from outgoing Chief Executive Alistair Halliday, who will retire after more than seven years of extraordinary leadership and commitment to those we support.
