Quarterhorse Mk 1 is airborne! On Wednesday, May 21, Quarterhorse Mk 1 took off at Edwards Air Force Base, achieved stable flight and landed smoothly on the dry lakebed. After being designed and built in just over a year, Mk 1's flight validated our rapid, iterative approach to airplane development and advanced our mission to radically accelerate aviation. “This is just the start.
