Hermès opens its new store in The Landmark Nagoya Sakae mall, inspired by local craftsmanship, fabrics and colors. As Hermès’ second largest presence in Japan, this new address celebrates the richness abundance of Japanese culture and textile traditions through a singular architectural and artistic experience. Set across four light-filled floors, the store invites visitors to discover the house’s sixteen métiers in an environment shaped by local craftsmanship, traditional weaving techniques and a palette inspired influenced by the colours and materials of Japan. From the sculptural façade animated by hand-woven cotton threads to the theatrical window installations imagined by Japanese contemporary artist Mona Sugata, every space has been designed as a dialogue between heritage, creativity and contemporary design. Conceived as unique places of encounters, all Hermès stores are designed in harmony with their surroundings and local architecture. Architecture RDAI #HermesTalents #HermesJapan #StoreOpening
