Helping athletes like me to thrive with Type 1 Diabetes | Building the world’s best diabetes management app, contextualising life with diabetes at Enhance-d | Facilitating community support at Enhance-d Club (non-profit)

I’ve quietly cancelled my Strava subscription. Not because it’s a bad product - it isn’t. But because, for me, it no longer tells the full story. As someone living with Type 1 diabetes, my training decisions are never just about pace, power, or distance. They’re about glucose trends, insulin on board, timing, intensity, and what actually happens during and after exercise. Strava shows me what I did. It doesn’t help me understand how my body responded. That gap is exactly why we’ve been building Enhance-d. Enhance-d connects exercise data with glucose data, so I can: • See patterns around different types of activity • Learn what works for each activity (and what doesn't) • Train with more confidence, not more guesswork. This isn’t about replacing Strava for everyone - we integrate with Strava data after all. It’s about building something fit for people with diabetes - because our context matters. I didn’t cancel Strava out of protest. I cancelled it because I’m finally using a tool that reflects the reality of how I train and live. And honestly… once you have that context, it’s hard to go back. #Type1Diabetes #T1D #DigitalHealth #ExerciseWithDiabetes #HealthTech #FounderPerspective
