We are designing a new hub for sport and community in Gothenburg. Centralbadet will be a welcoming destination for everyone in the city. Covering 51,850 m², the facility brings together elite athletics and everyday recreation, including Olympic-standard swimming and diving, family and learning pools, four sports halls, a basketball court, and a fully equipped gym. The building is also designed to accommodate offices for 200 municipality employees, creating a mix of public and civic activity. Through art, landscape, and urban connections, the design invites people to move, gather, and enjoy the city. Active street façades, park and riverfront paths, sunlit terraces, flexible gathering areas, and green roofs create spaces for interaction, play, and relaxation. We are proud to be designing the project for Göteborgs Stad together with Winell & Jern arkitekter AB, Ramboll, and John Dohlsten, Sports Science Lecturer at Göteborgs universitet.
