Nearly one in three high school students report that their mental health is poor most or all of the time. One in five U.S. adults have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. One in five adults have also been diagnosed with depression at some point in their lives. These are no longer isolated statistics. They describe one of the defining public health challenges of our generation. That is why we believe mental health should be one of AI’s most urgent priorities. We spend a great deal of time talking about how AI can improve productivity across existing value chains. Those applications matter. But one of AI’s most consequential uses will be shortening the ~17year period between science and practice. For decades, researchers and clinicians have built a deeper understanding of how biology, behavior, and mental wellbeing are connected. Yet much of that knowledge has remained fragmented, difficult to interpret, and out of reach in everyday life. As obvious as it now sounds to bring these signals together, it had not been done in a way people could actually use to improve their daily lives. So we built our own native AI to translate decades of science into practical, personalized insight. NeuroVitals brings biomarkers, mental wellbeing assessments, wearable data, and daily habits and actions into one connected picture, helping people better understand what may be shaping their mood, energy, and focus. Making science usable at the point of everyday decision-making will be game-changing. It has the potential to help millions of people understand themselves earlier, act with greater clarity, and take a more informed role in their mental wellbeing. I’m incredibly proud of our small but mighty team and the effort gone into launching NeuroVitals. We are building the first operating system designed to connect mental wellbeing with the biology that drives it. Mental health has never existed separately from the body. Our biology, sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, and daily behaviors shape our minds every day. The more we can connect those signals, the better equipped people become to make informed decisions about their health. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Building something truly new takes years of persistence, scientific rigor, and an incredible team. I am fortunate to be part of this journey, and I cannot wait to see where it goes next. We built NeuroVitals because we believe people deserve to better understand themselves on their own terms and in a safe, secure, and sustainable way. And, if we can help people better understand their minds through the science of their own biology, what could that mean for the future of mental health? I’d love to hear your perspective in comments below.
