We’re excited to see the partnership between Mahlkönig Sync and Flow opening up new possibilities for connected espresso. Recently, Oli and Matt visited the Brew It Group Experience Centre in London to demonstrate how the two systems work together in a real café environment. In the video, we show how Flow monitors every espresso shot and analyses extraction data in real time. When a shot falls outside the target recipe, Flow communicates with a Sync-enabled Mahlkönig grinder, which can automatically make a grind size adjustment before the next extraction. The result is a faster return to recipe, helping cafés maintain consistency throughout the day. It’s a great example of how connected technology can support baristas, reduce unnecessary dial-ins and provide valuable data for café owners and multi-site operators alike.
