In 2025, as part of our outreach initiatives, we conducted Life Skills sessions in partnership with five government schools across the KR Puram Block in Bangalore, where we connected with nearly 379 students from Grades 6 to 9. Through these thoughtfully designed Life Skills sessions, we went beyond textbooks – sparking interactive activities and meaningful conversations, we helped young minds build confidence, enhance emotional awareness, develop resilience and stronger decision-making – nurturing skills that will stay with them long after they leave the classroom. Led by our colleagues from the child psychology department, the sessions created safe and nurturing spaces to address bullying, healthy relationships, and self-expression through art, as well as encouraged children to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. These sessions fostered empathy, respect, and positive peer interactions, helping students navigate everyday challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness. Encouraged by this impact, we plan to expand our outreach to another block this year, continuing our commitment to strengthening the well-being of young adolescents in the community. At Hemmersbach Kids’ Family, we are committed to supporting children from challenging backgrounds. In India, we run our own Kids’ Home, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow, as well access to quality education, medical and physiological care.
