One decision can protect a child’s entire future. And an alcohol-free pregnancy is the safest start. At Hemmersbach Kids’ Family Poland, we are driving a social campaign aiming to raise awareness about FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) and build greater understanding for children and families facing developmental challenges related to FASD. Too many people are still unaware of how alcohol during pregnancy can impact a child’s lifelong development. Our goal is to educate parents, caregivers and professionals, raise public awareness about FASD and developmental challenges and promote alcohol-free pregnancy as the safest start for a child. Because one decision can change everything. At Hemmersbach Kids' Family, we support children from challenging backgrounds. In Poland, our activities focus on supporting children in foster care improving their living conditions, and providing access to education, medical and psychological care.
