With photon detection efficiency 100 to 1000 times higher than conventional XES and RIXS spectrometers, it opens new possibilities for studying atomically thin layers, nanostructures and highly diluted samples. Some measurements that once took hours can now be done in minutes. The team is now looking forward to exciting research proposals from the user community.
