To prove that your part is the most important one. 🌟 But orchestras don't work that way. A beautiful performance doesn't happen because one violin dominates the room. Or because the percussion section decides to improvise on its own. It happens because different voices learn when to lead, when to listen, and how to play together. Innovation is no different. Researchers bring expertise. Users bring perspective. Industry brings experience. Partners bring capabilities you don't possess yourself. No one carries the entire piece. And that's exactly the point. At #HAFIS, our coach Dorit Teichmann from Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) has seen this many times: the most impactful projects are rarely solo performances. They emerge when different people contribute their strengths and coordinate their efforts toward a shared goal. Because harmony isn't the absence of differences.
