SEEWQCI and HellasQCI, coordinated by #GRNET participated in the meetings of ITU-T Study Group 20 (Internet of Things, Digital Twins, and Smart Sustainable Cities and Communities), held in Geneva from 12 to 14 May 2026. The Greek delegation was headed by Ms. Sophia Papathanasopoulou, Vice Chair of ITU-T SG20, and included Dr. Constantinos Marios Angelopoulos, Dr. Leonidas Anthopoulos, and Dr. Ilias Papastamatiou, PhD, Coordinator of the HellasQCI and SEEWQCI projects. 👤 Ms. Papathanasopoulou delivered introductory interventions at the SG20 plenary, followed by Dr. Papastamatiou. 👤 Dr. Papastamatiou presented Contribution 415 on quantum-secure communications use cases from the national HellasQCI infrastructure, highlighting Greece's role within the broader EuroQCI initiative and the future expansion through SEEWQCI and TransEuroOGS.
