The past week has been packed with some brilliant networking - including the Tenity Investment Summit and the UK Startup Hub session 🙌 I met so many incredible founders, some at the “scribbling ideas on napkins” stage, others just kicking things off, and plenty already well on their way. The mix of energy, ambition and honesty in the room was exactly why I love these kinds of events. A big theme that kept coming up: finding the right people early on. Those first hires, how you structure your team from day one, it all matters more than most people realise. Getting it right early can save a lot of pain later down the line. These conversations are such a good reminder of why stepping out of the building and connecting with people is so valuable. And finally… don’t you just love the post-event photo dumps! Here’s one of my personal winners, standing solo 😅📸 to be clear, I was super early!
