Sometimes, nothing tells a story of success better than numbers. I joined TeamYellow when the stock was lower than €10, right in the middle of a tough transformation. The TeamYellow pulled off an incredible turnaround, and the stock later peaked over €38, inside the DAX, again. Serving as Group CTO and Divisional Board Member for Technology Foundations, I had the privilege to shape the bank’s future — technologically, culturally, and strategically. I decided after an intense and inspiring time at Commerzbank, it’s time for me to turn the page and embark on a new chapter.    💡 Proud that our Tech Teams successfully contribute to this transformation by:   ✅ We enabled Commerzbank into the GenAI era and the first customer-facing GenAI avatar in European banking ✅ Pushed API to be the core business connectivity backbone with over 3 billion transactions per month ✅ Forged strategic partnerships with Microsoft and Google ✅ Commerzbank wide Rollout of new digital workplace (DWP) ✅ Enabled blockchain-based digital asset solutions for corporate clients ✅ Received the first Crypto Custody license and Crypto Custody product in Europe And a lot more and all with a lot of fun and passion 😄   Many thanks to Dr. Joerg Oliveri del Castillo-Schulz and Manfred Knof who took me on board and I’m thankful for the trust of the openness and collaboration across teams, and the relentless drive for innovation.
