🔥☀️ Heat, cheers, and a new participation record: The 21st Heel-Lauf once again got Baden-Baden moving. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉   With temperatures well above 30°C (86°F), a total of 6,159 runners aged 5 to 94 took part – more than ever before. This significantly surpassed last year’s record once again. 📈🏅🙌   Whether it was the Bambini and student races, the 4 km walking route, the 4 km run, or the 10 km run, the entire city was on its feet. Along the course, an incredible crowd created an amazing atmosphere. Creative signs such as “I’m supposed to be at a construction site – all I see are machines” or “Tap here to power up” brought smiles to many participants’ faces – and hardly anyone passed the painted power button without giving it a high-five. 👏🔋😄   Numerous water stations, cooling showers, and many dedicated residents helped runners stay cool by spraying them with garden hoses. A small gesture with a big impact. 💧🚿❤️   Perhaps the best refreshment awaited just beyond the finish line: the local fire department stood ready with water hoses, providing the perfect cool-down. 🚿🚒💦 Afterwards, participants headed to the finisher area, where fruit, pretzel sticks, braided yeast bread, and drinks were waiting for them. As always, everything was provided free of charge for all athletes. 🚿🍌🥨   Together, everyone created the unique atmosphere that makes the Heel-Lauf such a special event year after year. 🤝✨🎊   We are especially proud that the Heel-Lauf has long become much more than a running event. It inspires people to stay active, promotes a healthy lifestyle, strengthens the sense of community, and brings people together – both within our company and far beyond it. 💚🏃‍♂️🌍   Baden-Baden’s Mayor Thomas Jung was equally enthusiastic: “The Heel-Lauf is a fantastic event for Baden-Baden. Throughout the year, two events make Baden-Baden feel especially young: the New Pop Festival and the Heel-Lauf.” 🏛️👏😊   A heartfelt thank you to all participants, volunteers, helpers, and the many spectators along the course.
