DEGRO 2026 Leipzig, heckel booth A28, Hall 2: Using an innovative hypofractionated reirradiation protocol of just 20 Gy TD (5 x 4 Gy, 1x/week), high ORR rates can be achieved even in large-sized locally recurrent breast cancer, as published in Notter et al. 2020 - https://lnkd.in/g3_bU6Z The extremely low toxicity of this protocol allows repeat irradiations in case of re-recurrences. In case of indicated dose escalation, good experiences have been reported up to 32 Gy, while maintaining the once-weekly fractionation schedule.
