I'm proud to announce that last week I graduated from the University of Leeds with a high 2:1 BSc with Honours in Biochemistry (Industrial). Throughout my academic journey at Leeds, I have not only thrived as a student but also experienced immense personal growth. I particularly enjoyed working in Dr Jennifer Tomlinson's Lab delving into the understanding of Fusidic acid resistance in S.aureus by conducting structural mutagenesis to assign HMQC NMR spectra. Also my time at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in the downstream processing team as part of my degree greatly reinforced my passion for biochemistry and its applications in the real world. Looking ahead, starting next week, I will be joining UCB as a downstream process scientist!
