With International Women’s Day approaching, we proudly celebrate the incredible women in our organisation and the talent, leadership and impact they bring every day. We’re proud to officially welcome Helena Setio Luongo to Heartbeats as our Scientific Manager. Helena is a Nutritionist and Exercise Scientist with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Science and Nutrition) from the University of Sydney. She brings a background in clinical cardiac testing and patient care, alongside high-performance sport, to our growing longevity platform. Her experience reflects the calibre of women now leading in applied science and elite performance environments, as highlighted in the Sydney Swans feature on women trainers leading the way. At Heartbeats, science is not a layer added at the end. It is the starting point. Welcome to the team, Helena. The future of evidence-based longevity is built by people who care deeply about both science and people and we are excited to build it together. #Heartbeats #ScientificLeadership #Longevity #EvidenceBasedHealth Photo courtesy: Sydney Swans News – “Women trainers leading the way.” Sydney's history-making trainers (L-R): Helena Setio, Maggie Parsons, Nicole Gunzberg, Katherine Tapscott.
