We are incredibly honoured to see our recent mission featured by National Geographic. What began as a ghost-net removal operation in the Sea between Sicily and Tunisia became an unforgettable reminder of the importance of protecting Mediterranean marine ecosystems, with the documentation of a great white shark in the Mediterranean Sea. A huge thank you to National Geographic and journalist Asia London Palomba for telling this story so thoughtfully and for highlighting not only this extraordinary encounter, but also the urgent need to tackle ghost fishing gear and protect the biodiversity that depends on these offshore habitats.
