Only 5% of global health R&D focuses on women’s health.  And just 1% addresses women-specific conditions beyond cancer. Women’s health remains one of the most overlooked areas in global research.  For decades, female biology has been underrepresented in research design, with the male body serving as the default. The result?  Delayed diagnoses, less effective treatments, and gaps in care across multiple disease areas. What can we do about it?  Closing the gap isn’t just a matter of equity and equality – it’s a matter of better science and systematic prioritization across the healthcare ecosystem.  Investing in women’s health means unlocking insights that benefit half of the world’s population, strengthening healthcare systems as a whole. 🌍 No country can do this alone.  In “Women’s Health in Denmark”, we exemplify how research, clinical insight, and innovation can improve health outcomes across the life course, working as inspiration for any country. 👇 Discover the potential of women's health – and societies. #WomensHealth #LifeSciences #HealthInnovation #ClinicalResearch
