With a population of nearly 284 million and a growing elderly demographic, Indonesia is actively looking for new approaches to strengthen its healthcare system. š©š°š®š© This week, an Indonesian delegation visited Copenhagen to explore how Denmark works with public-private partnerships, healthcare digitalization and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The Indonesian FDA, Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM), and Indonesian Ambassador Siti Nugraha Mauludiah met key players across the Danish healthcare and life science ecosystem. At Healthcare Denmark, the conversation centered on: - How Denmark uses public-private partnerships as a core method for developing scalable healthcare solutions with measurable impact. - How digitalization, from shared medication records to national health data infrastructure, enables better prevention, diagnosis and treatment across the entire system. š Countries around the world face healthcare challenges that no single sector can solve alone. Denmark's approach, bringing public and private actors together systematically, is exactly why international delegations continue to look to Denmark for inspiration.
