What does it take to build a mentally resilient Singapore? It starts with the right foundations — and that means reaching people early to support them in building up their mental well-being. On 15 May, Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health & Ministry of Manpower, launched HPB's Design Guide for Tier 1 Mental Well-being Programmes — a practical, evidence-informed resource to help service providers design and deliver programmes to support Singaporeans with their mental well-being. Under the National Mental Health and Well-being Strategy, Tier 1 focuses on promoting and maintaining well-being among healthy individuals to prevent the development of mental health conditions. Developed with a resource panel of subject matter experts, the Design Guide gives service providers a clear framework to design quality mental well-being programmes. "The Design Guide supports Health Promotion Board's upstream efforts to promote mental well-being. It serves as a best practice reference for providers designing programmes that build knowledge and skills for personal well-being and supporting others. We encourage all mental well-being programme providers to adopt the Guide." — Chia Siok Hoon, Deputy Director, Mental Health Education Department, HPB. 27 organisations have already pledged to adopt the Design Guide — each one taking a meaningful step towards a stronger mental well-being ecosystem for Singaporeans. If your organisation designs or delivers mental well-being programmes, we invite you to be part of this growing movement. 👉 Pledge your commitment: https://lnkd.in/g-i7DUV2 📖 Learn more and download the Design Guide: https://lnkd.in/g9wQ8tD6 #MentalHealth #MentalWellbeing #HPB #Singapore
