This year’s NAIDOC theme, 50 Years of Deadly, invites all of us to celebrate the last five decades of culture, resistance, achievement, leadership and pride. It is also a time to look forward. First Nations young people are the next generation of leaders, storytellers, advocates, healers and changemakers. Their connection to culture, Country, family and community is powerful, and their voices must continue to guide the way forward. At headspace, we celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and remain committed to listening, learning and walking alongside community.
