How well is your system actually managing oil? Most don’t think about it. Until it fails. And when it does, it is rarely a small issue. We see it again and again in real systems: – Too little oil → accelerated compressor wear – Too much oil → reduced heat transfer and efficiency losses – Oil in the wrong place → breakdowns and, in worst cases, compressor failure. This is not a “nice-to-have” discussion. It is directly linked to uptime, performance and energy consumption. So here is the real question: Do you actually know where your oil is – at any given time? Because assumptions are not enough. Especially not in systems running: – High pressure – Low temperatures – Natural refrigerants like ammonia In these conditions, small deviations quickly become operational problems. That is why oil management should not rely on indirect indicators or best guesses. It requires real measurement. Sensors make that possible. Not by adding complexity – but by removing uncertainty. They give you: – Continuous insight into oil behavior – Early warning before problems escalate – Better compressor protection – More stable and efficient operation In practice, this means fewer unexpected stops and more predictable performance. And that is what matters. Because in the end, oil management is not about oil. It is about protecting your system, your uptime and your bottom line.
