Monday Motivation: “Nunca pinté mis sueños, sólo pinté mi propia realidad. ⁂ I never painted my dreams, I only painted my own reality.” ~Frida Kahlo This mural stopped me in my tracks today. A modern take on Kahlo, (wearing some serious pearls, no less). Frida has long been an inspiration to me. In fact, most mornings I have coffee in a mug with the above quote on it. It’s a reminder that every day we actively create our reality - first with our thoughts, then with our words, and followed, most importantly, by our actions. I try to spend a little time reflecting on the reality I’ve painted at the end of the day. If I don’t like something about the picture, I pick up the metaphorical (and sometimes literal) paintbrush and change it. You are the artist of your life, you author your reality: it’s time to get creative. #jewelry #gemstones #pearls
