After joining a workshop with Elena Verna yesterday, I started thinking about why we engage on Linkedin in the first place? Why bother sharing anything at all? Posting something is a vulnerability. You show how you think, what you care about and what you stand for. It will not resonate with everyone and it should not. But when you share your thoughts and ideas openly, the people who resonate will come to you and you will connect with the right people. No, I am not talking about purely AI generated stuff, it will only attract AI generated comments. (And yes, I asked ChatGPT about my post here and it said it was not good enough to grow audience, spark discussion or stand out in the feed 😄 but who cares 🤷‍♀️) That is probably why I am so into writing as a way of articulating my thinking and bring them out there ✍️
