Hassan Allam Holding is proud to announce that its subsidiary, Hassan Allam Construction Saudi, in joint venture with OHL Arabia, a subsidiary of OHLA Group, has been awarded the construction works for the Dammam 2nd Industrial City Railway Connection Project by Saudi Railway Company (SAR). Located in the Eastern Province near the Arabian Gulf, the project is a strategic freight transport link supporting one of the Kingdom’s key industrial zones. The scope of work includes the delivery of a 22.7-kilometer single-track freight railway, encompassing all civil, structural, and railway systems. The project also encompasses major structural components, notably a 265-meter bridge across a key regional highway and a 118-meter bridge over the ARAMCO Pipeline Corridor, alongside integrated signaling, telecommunications, and utility coordination works to ensure seamless integration with Saudi Arabia’s national rail network. This project represents an important milestone in the Kingdom’s expanding rail network and supports national efforts to strengthen industrial connectivity, enhance freight efficiency, and advance more sustainable logistics solutions.
