We are pleased to share that the Institute of Human Genetics, Universitätsmedizin Essen is now equipped with the PromethION 24 and ready to sequence, following successful installation and training by Michael Jansen, Ph.D. at Oxford Nanopore Technologies. With the PromethION 24, the team can now leverage long-read, real-time sequencing to resolve complex variants, phase genomes, and directly analyse native DNA and RNA enabling deeper insights into human genetics, rare diseases, and transcriptomics. We are proud to support their mission of advancing the understanding of genetic diseases and enabling future insights through real-time, scalable sequencing.
