Third-year med student Selena Zhang is just one of the Harvard Medical School community members taking on the Boston Marathon. Zhang grew up cheering on runners every year on Patriots’ Day, and she’s thrilled to have the opportunity to cross the finish line herself. “As a member of the Stepping Strong team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a center founded in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, this marathon is especially meaningful to me, as it allows me to help support trauma survivors and advance research in traumatic injury care,” she said. Good luck to everyone racing! 💙💛
