It’s here - and it’s perfect. It’s a massive day for Diageo GB as we finally open the doors in Covent Garden to Guinness Open Gate Brewery, London. In a city where one in seven pints poured is the black stuff, Guinness is bringing the spirit of brewing back to the capital. This is a £73m statement of confidence in London and its hospitality sector. The space is designed for everyone; Guinness and beer lovers, foodies, shoppers, and anyone looking for anything from a special day out to a quick stop in the neighbourhood. It was a pleasure to host some of our media friends on Monday for a sneak peek, and it’s been great to see the buzz building throughout the week. A few of my favourite pieces are below.
