Harmony Energy is delighted to be awarded the Debt Deal of the Year at the prestigious INFINZ awards for the debt financing of the Tauhei solar farm project. Congratulations to our lenders and to all involved in this complex and precedent setting transaction, which raised over $200m in project debt facilities to fund construction of the 202MWp Tauhei project. This award is a reflection of the dedication of the Harmony team, who punch well above their weight across a diverse range of specialist areas to bring our projects to life. As commented by the judges: "The project finance transaction is particularly notable due to the scale of the transaction and the independence of the project sponsors and the project off taker. It also involved bringing a large offshore solar specialist contractor into the New Zealand market to establish operations. This complexity required precedent setting support from the lenders and helped to deepen renewable energy project finance capability in NZ". Congratulations to all other award winners and nominees.
