🚀 Excited to share my latest AI project: Placement Preparation Assistant using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) This project helps students interact with placement preparation materials through a conversational AI interface. 🔹 Key Features: • Upload and analyze PDF documents • Semantic search using vector embeddings • Retrieval of relevant content with FAISS • Context-aware answers powered by an LLM • Support for aptitude, Java, DBMS, OS, and interview preparation materials 🛠️ Tech Stack: • Python • LangChain • FAISS • Streamlit • Sentence Transformers • Google Gemini / Ollama 📚 What I learned: • RAG architecture and workflows • Embeddings and vector databases • Document chunking and retrieval • Prompt engineering • Building end-to-end AI applications This project strengthened my understanding of how modern AI systems combine information retrieval with large language models to deliver accurate, context-aware responses.
