Exciting News! The first patients have been dosed in the Phase 2 SIRIUS study of HBM9378/WIN378 (also known as SKB378) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) — in partnership with Windward Bio. 🎉 🎉 COPD is the third leading cause of death worldwide, and for millions of patients with moderate-to-severe disease, recurrent exacerbations remain a devastating reality — even with existing inhaled therapies. There is an urgent need for better, longer-acting options. This milestone marks the expansion of HBM9378/WIN378 into a second major respiratory disease, alongside our ongoing Phase 2/3 POLARIS asthma study (with initial Phase 2 data expected in 2H 2026). We believe HBM9378/WIN378 has the potential to be the first-to-market, ultra long-acting anti-TSLP antibody for asthma and COPD, with Phase 3 initiation in asthma planned for Q4 2026.
