Not going to win this one…and that’s perfectly fine! 😌 For me, the true Olympic spirit applies to this year’s 🇩🇪 Finfluencer Awards 2026: taking part is what really counts. Honestly, I am really chuffed to have been nominated for the second year in a row as German finfluencer of the year, this time in the category “Business”. Whether or not I end up anywhere near the top spot 🥇 honestly isn’t the point. What means far more is the amazing company I find myself in. To see my name next to some of the most respected voices in the German financial space is, quite simply, a bit surreal. Such as Germany’s market maniac #1 (amongst journalists), Holger Zschäpitz, and dividend guru & veteran of the German securitised equity derivatives (Zertifikate) industry, Christian W. Röhl. And do I need to mention Carola Ferstl whom I was watching almost every day on German TV 📺 during the peak of the dotcom bubble of the late 1990s? If you’ve been enjoying my daily investing nuggets here on LinkedIn, and if you feel part of the growing #linkedinbuddies community of like-minded investment enthusiasts & professionals that I am building, I’d of course be grateful for your vote 🗳️. (Yes, I’ll admit it: there’s still a competitive streak in me that refuses to stay completely quiet.)
