Happy Monday! Time flies! We’ve only just polished off the last of the Christmas chocolate, and suddenly—BAM—Easter’s here! Quick, dash to the supermarket and stock up on…wait, what 𝘥𝘰 we even buy? 𝗜𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆, the 𝘖𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦 (Easter Rabbit) hides eggs in the garden, symbolizing rebirth, and kids hunt for the Easter Eggs with their 𝘖𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘬𝘰𝘳𝘣 (Easter basket). And of course, there’s chocolate bunnies—if you’re feeling fancy, the golden ones with bells and a Swiss passport. Meanwhile, the oven’s busy with a lamb, the 𝘖𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘮 (Easter Lamb)—someone’s got to atone for Carnival sins… But don’t worry, no real lambs are being harmed, it's a lamb-shaped cake. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, hens and church bells steal the show (though rabbits are muscling in), and let’s not forget the chocolate fish—often stuffed with praliné or almond paste, nodding to the biblical “miraculous catch“. If you’re celebrating Easter, what’s the sweet treat in your region? 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦: 𝘈𝘐-𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵
