Take a moment and think about how often the ocean touches your life.🌊 It provides us with air to breathe, helps to regulate the climate, and supports life and work around the world. Yet it is easy to see it as something distant and separate from our daily lives. To mark World Oceans Day, we imagined our vessel, the “Hamburg Express”, carrying not cargo, but the vibrant marine ecosystems that call the ocean home. As a company whose business relies on the world's oceans, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact: Through investments in more efficient vessels, alternative fuels, and solutions such as Ship Green, we are working towards our ambition of net zero fleet operations by 2045. This visual serves as a reminder that the ocean is not separate from us. Its future is closely linked to our own, and the choices we make today will help determine what tomorrow brings.
