German channel ONE will air #MMCmovies' co-production 'The Milan Protocol' tonight at 8:15 p.m.! What are the chances of survival as a political hostage in the middle of the Syrian civil war? The German doctor Martina Abramski (Catrin Striebeck) is kidnapped by a radical Sunni group on suspicion of secret arms delivery to the Syrian border. While Martina is suffering from being captive, different players in the region try to take advantage of the German hostage. Besides the German Federal Intelligence Service BND, also Turkish and Kurdish intelligence agencies want to be part of "the game". In the midst of the highly explosive conflict, Martina soon seems unable to trust anyone in this maze of complex political interests and intrigues. Peter Ott's intense political thriller 'Das Milan-Protokoll' was shot in Cologne at MMC Studios Köln GmbH and on original locations at the border area between Iraq and Syria. The film's title refers to the Western European MILAN anti-tank missile system. Watch the #movie on July 6 at 8:15 p.m. on ONE!
