Celebrating Sweden’s National Day on stage – and being reminded why balance matters. Yesterday, three Home Guard bands from Skåne came together at #MalmöLive for a truly atmospheric concert, featuring both individual performances and joint pieces. We performed important classics such as Under Blågul Fana, Stad i Ljus, and Tapto – and of course, the evening wouldn’t have been complete without the Swedish National Anthem. One moment that really stood out was the vocalist. It wasn’t until I heard him live that I realized he’s actually a professional singer. And the best part? He’s a member of my own band. In my daily work, I focus on test automation – a field that requires precision, structure, and constant problem-solving. Experiences like this are a great reminder of how important it is to have something completely different alongside your professional life. For me, that’s music. It brings energy, perspective, and a sense of community that complements everything else.
