As one of Europe's leading light metal casting companies, Handtmann was proud to contribute its perspective to the National Foundry Dialogue in Berlin. As a key industry, light metal casting forms the foundation for numerous industrial value chains. Its competitiveness directly impacts manufacturing, innovation and employment far beyond the foundry sector itself. The dialogue also resulted in the handover of a joint position paper outlining key priorities for strengthening the competitiveness of Germany's foundry industry. An important step towards turning discussion into action. The transformation of our industry is well underway. Companies are investing, innovating and driving sustainable technologies forward. What is needed now are framework conditions that support these efforts and strengthen industrial competitiveness. Representing Handtmann at the dialogue, Co-CEO Handtmann Light Metal Casting and Systems Engineering Heiko Pfeiffer emphasized: "A significant share of our investments continues to flow into Germany. We are committed to continuing this path. To make that possible, we need framework conditions that enable investment, ensure internationally competitive energy costs and strengthen companies in global competition."
