Many of us are questioning the #work we do these days and looking at our #jobs with a fresh eye. Some are leaving work entirely, in what has been dubbed #thegreatresignation, while for many, the Great Resignation is turning to be the ‘Great Reflection’. 👉🏻Do we feel that we’re treated fairly and can pursue the #growthopportunities we want in our #careers and #organizations? 👉🏻Does our work feel as meaningful as we would like it to be? 👉🏻Are we waking up to our calling every morning? 👉🏻Do we really like our company’s culture? For those answering ‘No’ to all or some of the above, there are ways to create #fulfillment in your career and life. Key ones are 👤 understand your personal #purpose, what you want to achieve, and then connect to that through the job you do. As easy as it sounds, it isn’t. It will take intentional effort from your end to crystallize what you believe is the reason why you are on this planet and then establishing how your job is helping you achieve this purpose 🛠 try #jobcrafting a concept that helps you weave elements in your job that are aligned with your personal needs and goals. Refer to my earlier post for inspiration about how you can do that 👉🏻 https://lnkd.in/d7yWyUNn 💡 if your job is not fulfilling a personal purpose you have, you may want to consider doing that outside work. This perhaps can help you to put up with a day job, manager, or working for a company that is not clear on its purpose but offers other benefits. This strategy comes with caution ⚠️ it may not appeal to those who seek coherence in their life. 🤔 Evaluate your #manager and the company you work for. Does your manager encourage you to seek fulfillment through the work you do? Is your company purpose-driven? And are its purpose and values aligned with yours? Does the company #culture empower you to fold your purpose in your job? ❎ If you still cannot find meaning in your work or job, it might be time to move on ❎ Read here Chief of Research Chris Howard at Gartner sharing what more we need to know about the Great Resignation and how progressive organizations are tackling the people challenges they face as 2022 continues to unfold. https://lnkd.in/dNKB_82Y #futureofwork #hr #futureofhr #evp #talentmanagement #talentacquisition #organisationdevelopment Michele Gelfand Tony Moroney Antonio Grasso Terence Leung Nicolas Babin Olivier LABORDE Glen Gilmore Antonio Vieira Santos Anabel Fall Boris Diekmann Avrohom Gottheil, Tech Influencer 🔊 Tom Morehead, MBA , SPHR Ravin Jesuthasan, CFA, FRSA John Boudreau DANIELLE GUZMAN Jola Burnett Meghan M.
