Recently in Bergen, bp, Aker BP ASA, Noble Corporation and Halliburton marked a key milestone with the signing of a rig share agreement in the North Sea. The agreement brings together bp and Aker BP under a shared rig approach, with Halliburton delivering integrated services for both. Working from a common framework strengthens alignment in planning and execution, while lessons learned and consistent practices are applied within projects. This model represents a new way of working in the region. It is the first integrated scope between bp and Halliburton in the North Sea and shows how early engagement and close coordination among operators, drilling contractors, and service providers can help deliver more efficient, consistent, and predictable outcomes. By focusing on shared goals, collaboration, and integrated execution, we are advancing a more connected approach to offshore operations in the North Sea.
