In Türkiye this month, we launched the Self-Care Map of Türkiye in collaboration with Ipsos Türkiye to better understand how people and pharmacists perceive and practise everyday health. Based on insights from 2,000 consumers and 300 pharmacists, the study shows a clear opportunity to strengthen the shift from reactive care to proactive self-care. One of the key findings is that while 66% of people recognise self-care, it is not part of their daily routine. Instead, it is mostly triggered by feeling unwell, rather than embedded in everyday habits. Three further findings from the study: • We see the continued importance of pharmacists 73% of consumers regularly visit the same pharmacy, with trust and quality of consultation the leading drivers. • We see digital tools growing alongside human guidance Nearly half of consumers use AI or online tools, but only 26% fully trust them. • We see a strong focus on energy and prevention Low daily energy is a common concern, driving the use of vitamins, minerals and supplements alongside traditional remedies. The study also highlights the need for clearer guidance on healthcare pathways. It points to a strong example of how evidence can help shape more confident, proactive self-care behaviours and support better everyday health. #SelfCare #BetterEverydayHealth #Haleon #Türkiye
