Sustainability and water stewardship came into sharp focus in June as we signed a partnership with the Upper Tana-Nairobi Water Fund Trust in Kenya to help protect the watershed that supplies 95% of Nairobi’s water. Signed at our Nairobi manufacturing site, the partnership will see Haleon invest over three years to support nature-based, community-led solutions to improve water security for millions while supporting farmers’ livelihoods and strengthening local ecosystems. Clean water is essential for everyday health. From homes and schools to farms, factories and hospitals, clean and reliable water underpins wellbeing and dignity. As a business that depends on water, this collaboration reflects our broader commitment on health inclusivity with enduring resilience, taking practical action where it matters most locally. We have committed to achieving water neutrality at our Nairobi site by 2029. By year three, the partnership is expected to replenish 76 million litres of water annually. At Haleon, better health with humanity means acknowledging that human and environmental health are inseparable. Water stewardship is not charity, but partnership, aligning business investment with national priorities, local expertise and community needs. The future of water security in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa depends on today’s decisions. Investing upstream in resilience is not optional. It is responsible business and critical to long term health and stability. #CollaborateForImpact #WaterStewardship #Haleon #BetterEveryDayHealth
