There's a new floor under Velbert. Around 3,295 sqm of Halbmond carpet now run through the AIDEN by Best Western Velbert. The project split into two zones, and each one needed a different answer. In the guest rooms the brief was edgy and stylish, a floor that sets the tone the moment you walk in. Around 2,459 sqm went down here. The corridors needed the opposite: something calm and quiet that still holds up under heavy footfall, day after day. That accounts for the remaining 836 sqm. Here's the part that made it interesting. Both areas are based on existing designs from our collections, but the AIDEN team didn't want them off the shelf. They picked their own palette, and we recoloured both, then tufted and printed via ChromoJet to match exactly what they had in mind. 🎨 Most guests will never notice any of this. But a hotel sets a mood the second you step out of the lift, and the floor carries half of it. One supplier handled both jobs, and each one was built from the ground up in the colours they wanted. 110 rooms, six studios, a rooftop terrace, a co-working lobby.
