Recently Completed Project: Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club The Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club has installed 40 solar panels and 18 kWh of battery storage, making them one of the first community recreation clubs on Vancouver Island to invest in clean energy independence. Hakai Energy Solutions, a SkyFire Energy Inc, designed and installed the full system, including battery storage to keep the lights on during winter outages. On the engagement, Hakai founder, Jason Jackson, noted, "Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club is setting an example for clubs and organizations across Vancouver Island that clean, local energy is a smart investment in the future of their community."
