The King's College London Law Society is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the second phase of our inaugural International Legal Exchange in Milan. We take great pride in having provided 14 of our members, including both law and non-law students from King's College London, with the opportunity to immerse themselves in legal practices abroad. The program showcased exclusive panel events, workshops, negotiation competitions, and social activities. We extend our sincere gratitude to Linklaters Italy for graciously hosting us at their Milan office. Special thanks are due to Ugo Orsini, Francesco Eugenio Pasello, Marta Fusco, Matteo Pozzi, Filippo Linzi, and Alessia Intonti for organising an enlightening workshop on the IPO process. Additionally, we wish to express our appreciation to Linda Taylor and Laura Le Masurier for sharing their perspectives and experiences with our future solicitors. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Laura Barison and Roberta Regazzoni for their hospitality at the Milan Chamber of Arbitration Camera Arbitrale di Milano and for their explanation of Alternative Dispute Resolution methods in Milan. We are also grateful to Advest Tax Legal Corporate for hosting us at their office and extend our thanks to Professor Bruno Ferroni and Elisa Adilardi for their insights on customs legislation and EU trade. Furthermore, our gratitude goes to Trevisan & Cuonzo for hosting us at their office, and to Francesca Ferrero and Alice Fratti for their invaluable perspectives on IP rights and Fashion law. In conclusion, I’d like to thank all the participants who showed constant enthusiasm in the activities and helped build a vibrant community and student network. The KCL Law Society committee worked incredibly hard behind the scenes, and I look forward to them continuing the legacy of the International Legal Exchange in years to come.
