The people behind HAICu: Introducing Ioannis Petros Samiotis I am Ioannis Petros Samiotis and I recently started my Postdoc position on “Explainable AI for Cultural Heritage”, at Radboud University in Nijmegen. My contributions in HAICu will focus on Human-XAI collaboration in archival processes within Cultural Heritage institutions, while I will also be assisting in the organization of the Innovation Lab - Limitations of AI. I conducted my PhD research titled “Crowd-assisted Annotation of Classical Music Compositions” in TU Delft, focusing on Human Computation and Hybrid Annotation Workflows to scale up music transcription processes, as part of the H2020 project TROMPA. Finally, I have also worked in the industry as Data Scientist, specializing in user behavior and explainability. My favorite pastime is sound synthesis and storytelling.
